Individually, designers must attend the IHG Design and Construction Immersion program and pass an IHG Design and Construction internal review based on knowledge of IHG brand specs & hallmarks, hospitality trends & codes, and other critical elements in the IHG design process.
Approvals are based on strict qualification criteria that includes a degree in Architecture or Interior Design and a minimum of 2 years experience in hospitality design or non-degreed interior designers with 5 years of consistent work in hospitality design.
Designers’ firms must be able to provide full architectural or interior design services that includes, programming, conceptual design and schematics, budgeting and cost estimating capabilities, design development, presentation materials, working drawings, architectural or interior design specifications, and construction administration.
